As her partner, Sam, plans a heartfelt proposal on the anniversary of Akanisi's Grandpa's passing - a sacred day marked by the Hertekof cultural event - Sam is unaware of a crucial secret: Akanisi has yet to come out to her traditional, conservative Grandma. 

Fekei delves into the powerful themes of Queer love, Pasifika identity and the struggle for family acceptance, beautifully balancing the push and pull between personal truth and cultural expectation. 

Fekei delves into the complexities of queer romance and Pasifika identity, addressing authenticity, cultural tradition, and family acceptance through theatre, culture, tradition and the making and sharing of food. This development will result in a showing at the end of the week for an invited audience.
